BOATERS!

ALL RECREATIONAL BOAT OPERATORS, regardless of age, of craft under 4 meters in length fitted with a motor, including PWCs, must have proof of competency ON BOARD AT ALL TIMES. (Fines of $300.00 are not unusual)

BOATPRO
An introductory short course (four evening sessons) leading, upon successful completion of course and exam to the Pleasure Craft Operator's Card (P.C.O.C.).
Course will be held at St.Anne's H.S. in Clinton, Room 130, April 3, 10, 17 and 24
St. Anne's is located north of Ontario St. (Hwy#8)
across from Tim Hortons

Any person who operates a radio in the Marine Bands without the"Restricted Operator's Certificate (Maritime)" is liable, upon summary conviction, to a penalty not to exceed $100.00 (Contraventions Act)
Maritime Radio Course including DSC: Digital Selective Calling Cost: Non Members: $65.00 Members: $60 Second Member of family: $55.00 April 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2007. Restricted Operator's Certificate (Maritime)
Note: Members who already have their ROC(M) certificate but wish to obtain their DSC Endorsement can take a special exam. You must have a photocopy of your present VHF Certificate. The cost for Module 2 and this special exam is $35.00 or $30.00 for second member of family.
